In July, I got two very special concerts to perform for Himalayan elders from New York and New Jersey. One of the concerts was to celebrate His Holiness’ 82nd Birthday. It was indeed a heartwarming gathering with the elders. They enjoyed my music and even bought my CDs. Check out some photos from these two events at.

Himalayan Elder Project is a volunteer initiative started by two Tibetans: Thupten Sherap and Thupten Chakrishar. This is one of the most unique and kind organizations whose aim is to keep our elders socially active. Visit their website to learn more

Recently, I launched a crowdfunding project to record thirty traditional classical songs from Lhasa, Tibet. I consider these as an endangered Tibetan music and I need your help to accomplish this dream. Please check out the project details at the link

For an auspicious start for the Tibetan Music Preservation project, I recorded my first song on July 6, 2017 to celebrate H.H. the Dalai Lama’s 82nd Birthday. Please check this song and other recordings that I have done for this project before at

I hope you will help push the project to reach its half-way goal.
