Tibetan music and culture preservation

In 2009-10, with the help from my advisory board members, I produced a professional music album titled; Semshae-Heart Songs to teach Tibetan language and art through music. This project raised $25,000. To learn about this project please visit www.semshae.org.

I attended the 2011 Kalachakra Buddhist teaching, by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in Bodhgaya, India We, fellow Tibetan musicians in India and Nepal, organized several concerts to pay tribute to the patriots in Tibet, who self-immolated their lives for freedom in Tibet. We received a rare opportunity to offer music to His Holiness during the Manadala consecration ceremony. My travel was made possible by contributions from Kirra Tara, Cheryl Haines, Ray-Light-Japan, Rindzing Tingkhye, Mr.and Mrs. Tenzin Sangpo, Sara L McClintock, Rex Niswander and Mr. & Mrs. Hal Jacobs and others.
